Multibond SMX25 is a high quality joint sealant with high viscosity, perfect for internal and external applications due to its high quality, low modulus, single component, and permanent structural flexibility. Based on SMX® Polymer, SMX25 has a “Shore A” hardness of 25 and can accommodate movement of ± 25%, making it ideal for surfaces prone to expansion and contraction like walls, windows and expansion joints. SMX25 has exceptional UV resistance, elasticity and can be sanded and painted with most types of paint. Once cured, it forms a strong, flexible, waterproof seal and bonds to the widest range of substrates, even for damp or wet surfaces such as bathroom and kitchen areas.
