Soudal Straw Gap Filling Expanding Foam is a one-component, self expanding, ready-to-use polyurethane foam with CFC-free propellants which are harmless to the ozone layer. The foam expands to 30 times the size of the can, forming an airtight, waterproof, soundproof and thermal insulating bond on most surfaces. Applications include the installation and sealing of window and doorframes, filling of cavities, sealing of all openings in roof constructions, connecting insulation materials and roof constructions and installation of air conditioners. The expanding foam skins over in about 5 to 10 minutes, and a 3 cm bead cures in about 1 ½ hours, depending on conditions. Does not shrink or expand once cured. Not UV resistant.
