M8 x 40mm Socket Cap Screws 304 - Carton 800
Available in stock
High-performance stainless steel socket head cap screws, sometimes known as 'Allen bolts', have a compact cylindrical head with tall vertical sides and a six-sided recess that may be used with an Allen wrench (hex key). Superior corrosion protection is achieved when 304 stainless steel is manufactured in accordance with European standard DIN 912, particularly in exposed situations. In the manufacturing, engineering, and automotive sectors, socket head cap screws are ideal for high-strength bolting onto threaded components and assemblies. They are frequently utilised in situations when a traditional wrench or socket cannot fit through the available space. They can be used in construction to fix steel to steel or timber to steel in an aesthetically beautiful bolted connection with a matching stainless hex nut.
