Plasterboard walls and other board materials with cavities can be secured with hollow wall anchors, which are expansion cavity fixes. When tightened, the clamping action, which incorporates a low profile zinc plated roundhead screw, spreads the fixture weight by generating an umbrella shape beneath the board and avoiding pull-through. You may either screw them up or use a tool to fix them into the wall after drilling a hole in your plaster wall and inserting the wall anchor until the teeth bite firmly into the sheet material.
