Drop-in anchors of professional quality are internally threaded anchors that make it simple and quick to insert any threaded rod or fastener into solid concrete, hard stone, or masonry. A matching setting tool expands the high-strength steel anchor, driving the captive expansion plug all the way home while shielding the internal thread from harm. Because drop-in anchors fit flush, they are ideal for temporary or detachable fixtures, such as scaffolding or maintenance. These drop-in anchors have some of the quickest anchor installation times of all of our masonry anchoring products when the corresponding setting tool is used.
