When screwed into wood, plastic, or thin to medium gauge steel, stainless steel countersunk self-tapping screws from our high performance multipurpose self-tapping screw collection are made to drill and tap their own hole, producing precisely fitting threads. For flush finishing in door furniture, bracketry, and other general engineering and building components, use a smooth under-head countersink.
