Our high performance screw line includes hinge screws, which are hardened countersunk self tapping undercut screws. When screwed into thin to medium gauge steel, plastic, or wood. Instead of having a full taper, the countersunk head of self-tapping undercut screws is chopped away halfway to provide a flat bottom. This enables the screw to be flush with a thin metal plate that is countersunk, typically a bracket or hinge.
